Shottle Hall is an elegant Derbyshire Country House nestled on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Set in beautiful grounds with stunning views over the Ecclesbourne Valley. Whether you want a small intimate celebration or a more lavish affair we can cater from 16 to 90 guests for a civil ceremony and wedding breakfast. And up to 150 guests for your evening reception in our Orangery Restaurant.
Brand new for 2017 wedding season we have our beautiful new permanent Coach House Marquee. With uninterrupted views over the open countryside and combining a traditional stone built coach house with a state of the art luxury marquee. The Coach House Marquee can cater for larger wedding parties of between 60-150 guests for your wedding breakfast and then up to 250 guests for your evening reception.

My family took over Shottle Hall in 2006 and we have turned it into one of Derbyshire's Finest Wedding Venues.
At the heart of our business is family and we extend our hospitality to your family and friends.
We have a beautiful venue in a stunning location, fantastic food and drink, and more importantly a warm and friendly team that will help your day run smoothly.

Our venue hire prices include all banqueting furniture, table line, crockery, cutlery, glassware, cake stand with knife, and a dance floor. You will also be allocated a dedicated wedding coordinator who will help with the planning of your day and act as master of ceremonies during the wedding breakfast. (Please note we are very transparent with our prices here at Shottle Hall so no nasty surprises!)

We loved the venue as soon as we visited and felt so lucky to be able to have our dream wedding here. The venue is absolutely stunning and we loved how our dog could be part of the ceremony and have photos afterwards. The day ran so smoothly thanks to our wedding planner Helen and she offered good words of advice throughout the day which was much appreciated. The food was amazing and we had so many compliments from guests on how nice the wedding breakfast was and also the evening buffet. Nathan kindly got my brother a goodie bag of food as he had to leave early to catch his train. I was impressed that we all managed to pull off a big ‘Elvis’ surprise for our evening entertainment. My husband and guests had no idea about this and I just loved the look on his face when it was announced.We had the most amazing wedding day at Shottle Hall on 10.11.19. The venue is absolutely stunning and we loved how our dog could be part of the ceremony and have photos afterwards. Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We have so many! one of my fav spots is our newly appointed Italian style gardens.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We have hosted several footballers wedding from Derby County, and had quite a few celebrity visitors here at Shottle Hall. One of our Fav's has to be when Colin Firth (Mr Darcy) came to stay while filming locally.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We are very proud of our entire wedding day and the thanks and feedback they receive from our couples go to show how much they care and want to make everyones wedding day special.
