My husband and I instantly fell in love with Woodhill Hall when we first viewed the venue! We booked without hesitating and the whole experience of planning the wedding, our meetings with the wonderful James and our incredible day was perfect! Wow where do I even start, from first viewing to last goodbyes the service we received at Woodhill was exceptional. The staff couldn't have done more for us, the whole day was magical, woodhill is breathtakingly beautiful and made our day the best of our lives.Wow where do I even start, from first viewing to last goodbyes the service we received at Woodhill was exceptional. Best wedding weekend ever!Best wedding weekend ever!
What can I say about Woodhill to sum up in words how perfect our wedding was. From the moment I first stepped into Woodhill hall I instantly knew it was the venue for us. The thought and detail in each and every room makes it so personal and you can truely put your own stamp on the day. It was the prefect mix of a very romantic and intimate ceremony during the day with the party tipis on the night time to really let loose which is exactly what we wanted, so we booked only 9 days after getting engaged (my husband jokes he barely had time get back up from one knee before it was booked). All team W were perfectly wonderful from Rachel a Woodhill bride herself showing us round, along with Corrinne and of course the utterly fabulous James who was assigned as our wedding coordinator, we can’t thank James enough in both the run up to the day for all his help, expertise and guidance and on the day itself making sure everyone was looked after and everything ran smoothly. My favourite thing about having the “wedding weekend” was the Friday night, it it was a prefect celebration with close friends and family in the bbq hut and drinks in the elephant garden; for me this really took the edge of the wedding day itself and allowed me to speak to friends and family I hadnt seen in a while which allowed me on wedding day to focus on just having a good time and making amazing memories with everyone together. Woodhill will always hold a treasured place in our hearts along with some truely unforgettable memories. Thank you thank you thank you. After the wedding a guest told me she had never been to a wedding quite like ours and that was exactly what we were going for. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Northumberland this venue is totally different to anything else available as a wedding venue. The house and it’s grounds are beautiful with a jaw-dropping surprise around every corner. The menu, choice available and food itself is of an incredibly high standard and the staff are friendly, accommodating and helpful beyond belief. If you want somewhere a bit quirky, intimate and completely exclusive then this is the place. Absolutely 5 stars all of the way.
