Civil Ceremony We know that weddings can become expensive very quickly so our aim is to help make your wedding a memorable and joyous occasion, with all the added little touches that help to create a lavish effect without making any sacrifices. Our tailored civil ceremony allows you to experience the personal touch when it comes to saying ‘I Do’ without compromising on finding that special location or being confined to a generic Registrars Office. We have three licensed venues situated within the heart of the grounds, which all cater for different wedding party sizes. To help support and guide you through your wedding planning, our attentive Wedding Coordinators are here to craft your wedding from day one. We also offer support with working alongside your chosen suppliers ensuring every detail is accounted for. For those who are moving to another location after the ceremony, we allow you up to 60 minutes following the service to take photos in our magnificent grounds giving you time to take in the occasion before moving on to enjoy the rest of your day. Drinks Reception& Wedding Breakfast For those who wish to enjoy the surroundings of Charterhouse for longer, we offer drinks reception packages along with optional canapés. We encourage you to use this time for photo opportunities around our grounds. In addition to our ceremony venues, Scholars Court is a courtyard area ideal for holding an intimate drinks reception. Bordered on three sides by open cloisters, the design can offer shade or shelter if needed while providing a stunning backdrop. For those couples wishing to continue their day with a wedding breakfast and evening celebrations at Charterhouse we offer a number of catering and room options. Catering at Charterhouse is provided by our exclusive partner, Elior. Their professional and experienced team are on site throughout the day to freshly prepare your wedding day food.
