Our hotel is a Grade II listed, illustrious manor house with a history that dates back to the 19th century. It is the perfect location for a celebration, nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, with an idyllic setting overlooking our lake and neighbouring golf course.
Every wedding at our Doubletree is unique. We have 3 main packages and a range of bespoke options that can be used to create your own package. If you don’t see something you’d like for your big day, just let us know and we will do our utmost to tailor for your every need! All staff, event coordinators were so helpful, friendly, polite and hard working. They made our stay and our wedding weekend a happy, stress-free and wonderful event. - PPhil & Zara14/02/2018There is nothing my wife and I can complain about.There is nothing my wife and I can complain about.We visited the Doubletree by Hilton in Cheltenham for a wedding fair and after speaking to the wedding coordinator present we considered having our own wedding at the venue. We looked at many more potential venues but none felt right to us so we chose to have our wedding here rather than keep looking and we are so glad we did! All throughout the process the wedding coordinator Martha was always willing to talk to us about any concerns or queries whether it being via email, phone or arranging a face to face meeting nothing was too much trouble and she made the whole planning process much less stressful than you might imagine it would be. Her attention to our wedding details were excellent all the way to the day itself where she went beyond her duty to make sure everything went according to plan and our day went off without a hitch in sight! The other staff were attentive and professional around the venue and the food is outstanding. I have never been as impressed with food at any wedding as much as this one. The wedding breakfast courses are delicious and the buffet options are varied and taste just as good. The venue is large and felt exclusive to our guests and the venue make you feel special on the day and no task is too small, even our dog attended the ceremony! At the end of day there is really nothing my wife and i can complain about or even think could have gone better. You hear of wedding day nightmares but ours was a dream! Laura and Steve were the staff who helped to organise the proceedings from start to finish and helpful is an understatement, nothing was too much trouble for either of them to ensure the bride and groom and all guests had a day to remember. The wedding room was very well decorated and the grounds for the photos were perfect. Since the wedding I have had nothing but good comments from guests who were there for the day about everything. From drinks on arrival to a hog roast in the evening everything was superbly presented by smart and friendly staff who attended our every need, everyone of them is a credit to your company. For a wedding venue I cannot recommend the Doubletree highly enough because everything was perfect for the day. On the day of the wedding the staff were amazing. The wedding breakfast and evening buffet were gorgeous and multiple guest commented on the service. It was a beautiful day that we will remember forever. The room we had our wedding breakfast in looked lovely. The food was really nice, all guests commented on how good the food was. Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There is a little iron chair at the back of the grounds, which you can look over the lake, water features, and see all of your guests. It makes a truly magical moment.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Yes we have, including Keith Lemon!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Macaroni Cheese and Garlic Bread - Naughty, but nice.
