Just outside the village of Boxford Dove Barn offers you a relaxed and rustic venue set in the grounds of the elegant Castlings Hall. Dove Barn excels in intimate weddings from around 25 people and up to 110 guests. Set on a working farm, the venue encompasses two inter-connecting barns, a sheltered terrace, and large wedding meadow. The venue is set up as a blank canvas for you to create to look and wedding day of your dreams.

Best day ever! Best day ever!
We had our wedding at Dove Barn in October 2018. Was an amazing day from start to finish. Relaxed atmosphere, great venue and Jason helped ensure the day ran smoothly. The venue is very relaxed to allow you to plan the day to how you want and help with little touches here and there. A huge, huge thank you to Jayson Hewitt, and everyone behind the scenes at Dove Barn for helping to make our wedding day absolutely everything we’d hope it would be, and so so much more. From our very first enquiries and scouting out the venue as a possible venue choice, through all subsequent planning meetings and to the big day itself, Jayson remained continuously available to us to help as much as we needed, and to guide us through the planning process. Jayson was a complete professional throughout; informative, responsive, creative, organised and in general just a lovely guy to work with throughout our wedding planning. His experience and ideas were invaluable to us, helping us to think about the best ways to decorate the venue, the overall order of service for the day as a whole and consider little touches that would make the wedding unique to the two of us. The final outcome was absolutely perfect, and it’s clear that Jayson has a wealth of experience from helping to manage weddings t both Dove Barn, but also across other venues On the day itself, Jayson remained on point to keep everything coordinated, helping with final preparations, ensuring the caterers were getting set up as needed, and helping to run the entire day. From the time our guests started to arrive, and to the end of the evening as it was time to head home, Jayson was there in the background, running things seamlessly and without having to worry us with any last minute concerns or queries. We were able to just relax and enjoy our day, knowing Jayson had everything in hand, working closely with the caterers and everyone else behind the scenes. Dove Barn as a venue sold itself to us very quickly indeed. From when we first went to see it, we almost instantly started to envisage what our wedding could look like there. The final result was so much more than what we had hoped for. It was such a beautiful and relaxed setting, completely out on its own in the stunning Suffolk countryside, situated on a small farm which offered us plenty of space for the large number of guests we had, but also offering us the intimate wedding setting that was right for us. The inside of the barn looked stunning for our ceremony and with Jayson and the caterers’ great work in then turning the barn into a beautiful dining space for the wedding breakfast and speeches. The outside areas particularly were fantastic for a summer wedding, with everyone enjoying the terrace space for drinks and canapes, and then the grass field for summer games and photos, very much looking like a summer fete (just the look we were going for) This is a pretty lengthy review, but very much required to try and do some justice to how lovely this venue is, and to express our sincere gratitude to Jayson for all his help in making our wedding day beyond perfect. We can’t thank him enough and would recommend anyone and everyone to choose Dove Barn for their wedding. You won’t be disappointed. What an absolutely beautiful place to get married. The minute myself and my husband visited this place we knew straight away it was the one. Out of many places we viewed Adam was the first to ask us how we visioned our day to be. He’s approach to his barn is brilliant, his calm nature made us feel so relaxed about creating something special for our day. He’s was the one with us throughout the whole day and we didn’t even know he was there half the time making sure everything ran smoothly. Jason has been fantastic the whole time since booking, nothing seem to be a problem and his warm, friendly approach made things easy to organise. It really is a beautiful place with amazing staff, if your thinking of booking for your special day do as you won’t be disappointed. X What an absolutely beautiful place to get married.
