Choose from four beautiful locations inside the Hall for your ceremony... the Great Hall, the Drawing room & Library all feature wooden panelling, tall sash windows and log fires, while our daylight-filled Orangery features modern, clean lines. If an outdoor wedding is your preference, our Summerhouse features an aisle lined with lavender and roses. Elegant chandeliers, fairy lights and a dancing area with starlight canopy above, combine to create the perfect atmosphere to entertain your guests. The marquee can seat from 60 up to 170 for formal dining, extending to a maximum of 200 guests for the evening. Let us take care of all the arrangements for your wedding breakfast! You'll be invited to a tasting where you'll meet the chef and his team to discuss your menu in more detail. If you prefer a more bespoke menu, you have the flexibility to enquire with our three approved caterers who will be more than happy to discuss your individual requirements. We can take care of all your drinks requirements or you're welcome to provide your own drinks, for which a corkage fee is applicable. Here at Glemham, you'll be extremely well looked-after. You won't find lots of extras and add-on's in our pricing, so we've designed our catering prices to include food, tableware, glassware & serving staff. Canapes are served on beautiful rustic wooden boards. Your wedding breakfast will be served on classic white crockery with silver cutlery. Linen & napkins are crisp white but can be upgraded to a choice of available colours if you wish. Our serving staff wear plain grey aprons, are well-presented, friendly and attentive. Service runs smoothly, efficiently and discreetly.

We were married in this wonderful house last Saturday. It was without doubt the perfect day in a wonderful setting. If you want somewhere that is relaxed yet still grand then Glemham is the place. It has the perfect mix of Downton Abbey and The Darling Buds of May, wrapping itself around you and making you feel at home. We fell in love the moment we walked through the door, it's not just a typical "wedding venue", it's a home and it will always have a special place in our hearts. Donna and her staff are amazing, quiet organisation, like swans gliding through the day but paddling furiously underneath! We can't thank them all enough. Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be! Donna and Victoria were so helpful and reassuring throughout the whole planning process and definitely do the venue proud. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather for a summerhouse wedding and the grounds were absolutely stunning. When we were setting up the day before the gardeners were working hard to make sure everything looked amazing and there wasn't a single guest who didn't comment on how beautiful the grounds were. We were out in them pretty much all day and definitely made the most of it. If only we could do it all again, we wouldn't change a thing!Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be! Donna and Victoria were so helpful and reassuring throughout the whole planning process and definitely do the venue proud. We absolutely fell in love with Glemham when we saw it; the space, versatility and beauty were head and shoulders above the other venues that we had been to see. The pricing structure was clear, transparent, easy to follow and Donna and the team were on hand throughout to answer any questions. The Glemham team were helpful and supportive throughout the whole process and we could not have asked for more from them. We were lucky enough to get married outside at the Summer house; our guests could not believe how beautiful and extensive the grounds were and it truly made for a magical ceremony. The gardens provide an amazing backdrop for photos, and our photographer kept remarking that he was spoilt for choice of where to take pictures. The marquee space is generous and easily adapted to make it truly personal with your own finishing touches and entertainment. We cannot thank you enough for hosting out very special day, and we truly will never forget how magical it was. From the moment we first visited Glemham, it was obvious it was the place we wanted to get married, the hall, the gardens, the approach, the marquee - everything about it is beautiful! Donna was so brilliant in reassuring us and answering any questions in the lead up to the day, and so flexible with the things we wanted to do... "Can I put trees in the marquee?" No problem.. "Will a London bus fit up the drive?" Sure will... "I've seen these paper lanterns?" Sounds great... We just wanted to take the opportunity to say the biggest heart felt thank you for honestly the best day of our lives. You were all just incredible and we can't thank you enough. Some of our guests have been to the most expensive and exclusive venues up and down the country and they said it is the BEST venue they have ever been too! A huge thank you for making our wedding on Saturday such a roaring success. So many of the guests commented that it was the best wedding they had ever been to and were overwhelmed with how beautiful the Hall and gardens are. I have to admit I was quite nervous before the day that it wouldn't live up to my ridiculously high expectations of my fairytale wedding. However, the day massively exceeded all my expectations. Everything about a wedding at Glemham Hall is perfect. Donna and Victoria were so kind and helpful in answering my hundreds of emails and requests for 11 months before the day. On the day they were so organised and everything ran so smoothly. Despite the rain, I can honestly say it has been the best day of my life so far! Glemham Hall, in my opinion, is the best venue in Suffolk (and we looked at many!) and I would have no qualms in recommending this beautiful venue to anyone getting married in the area.A huge thank you for making our wedding on Saturday such a roaring success. We had an absolutely fantastic day in July and have spent the last two weeks very happily reminiscing between us and also with the friends and family we have managed to catch up with since. Everybody was raving about how beautiful the venue was and how seamlessly the day seemed to flow together. That is absolutely testament to your incredible behind the scenes organisation. We are so grateful for your efficiency and assistance in the lead up to the day, and on the day itself - you took care of so many small (and large!) details, and always with such a calm and helpful approach. Amongst the roses in the walled rose garden. Best months for this is June & July! Alternatively, the confetti shot arranged between the avenue of yew trees!

What’s your favourite canapé?

Bruschetta of red pesto, rocket and Serrano ham. Oh, and mini Yorkshire puddings with beef & horseradish. In fact, all of them!

It's got to be bacon rolls with HP sauce!

What is your venue's most unique feature?

It has to be our Grand Staircase, it creates such a glamourous entrance into the ceremony room! and then our rose gardens, they're simply beautiful.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

The relationships we build with couples. Their wedding day is such a happy & momentous event and it's such an honour to be a small part of it - and ultimately a huge responsibility to create an exceptional day for them. We still hear from couples long after their wedding day, which speaks volumes about our working relationships!
