Description
At Hintlesham Golf Club we offer our couples a venue for their weddings and a high standard of facilitates, while being surrounded by our picturesque surroundings. Our Orchard Room can sit up to 100 guests for the wedding ceremony. Afterwards people the guests can walk out onto our spacious veranda to enjoy a reception drink and the lushous views of the golf course. The bright main reception room can seat up to 140 guests for the wedding breakfast, lit by the wall of windows facing the golf course. The couple and their guests would have exclusive use of the main function room and orchard suite. We also provide a 5M x 5M dance floor, ready for when the party starts in the evening. The party doesn't have to stop either, as the exclusive bar that would be the guests does not shut until midnight. We have an in-house wedding coordinator who is dedicated to organising a couples wedding, making sure that it will run as smoothly as possible on the day. With on site parking and easy access from the A14 and A12 we are in a perfect position to welcome couples and their guests from all areas of Suffolk, Essex and surrounding counties.

Hello, my name is Hilary and I am the wedding coordinator based at Hintlesham Golf Club. I have been trained by my manger, who has been coordinating weddings for over 10 years and has a wide range of experience. I work closely with my couples to ensure that they are on track with their wedding planning and that I am provided with sufficient information to make their wedding day run as smoothly as possible. I am freely available to answer any questions, no matter how big or small they may be.

We have a range of wedding packages to offer you as well as bespoke wedding packages to cater to your requests. Wedding packages start for 50 day guests and 100 evening guests, expanding t for 90 day guests and 140 evening guests. These packages include; exclusive room hire and dance floor, a 3 course wedding breakfast, a reception drink for each guest on arrival or after the ceremony, a glass of house wine served with the wedding breakfast, sparkling wine toast drink, evening light bites, white linen, glassware, crockery and cutlery. The party doesn't have to stop as the bar does not shut until midnight. It is to be noted that ceremony room hire is charge for a small extra fee.

In the spring we have a cluster of trees that are in full blossom which are beautiful for the perfect picture.

Mini Yorkshire pudding with roast beef, horseradish & rocket because who doesn't love a mini roast dinner!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Bacon roll. With our packages that offer bacon rolls, we are more than happy to wrap two up ready for the bride & groom to take them home with them.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
We have chandeliers in our main reception room that offers an added touch of sparkle & decoration which means that decoration doesn't have to be an main stress for the couples. They are welcome to decorate the room however they please but all our couples also comment on how beautiful the chandeliers make the room look.
