Owlpen Manor in its hidden private valley is the "paradise incomparable on earth", wrote the great poet Algernon Charles Swinburne. Set your wedding in this Cotswold paradise- barn, gardens and marquees provide romance and spoiling intimacy for a never-to-be-forgotten day! The Owlpen team will work with you to create your own bespoke package. We will be on hand to take care of you and your family throughout the entire process, ensuring your day is tailored exactly to your wishes.
Owlpen is an exclusive and adaptable setting for any special occasion. Everwhere you look there are inexhaustible photo opportunities against a spectacular Cotswold backdrop. Offering a number of magical locations for your civil ceremony, wedding reception, dancing and dining, the estate is exclusively yours for the entire weekend. Receptions can be held for just 20 and up to 200. The site is licensed and we offer a superb range of selected wines; we can also run a pay-bar when requested.
The Cyder House with its gigantic oak cider press and cruck trusses is a uniquely flexible and intimate setting for up to 120 guests with an adjoining marquee. For smaller and more intimate weddings the Cyder House itself can seat up to 48 people.
The manor gardens are an incomparably romantic setting for larger weddings for up to 200 guests in a marquee. With their centuries-old clipped topiary and box parterres, they provide staggeringly beautiful views across to Owlpen Manor and Holy Cross church, a truly unique spot for your special occasion.
Civil ceremonies and partnerships are held in the Great Hall of the Manor House or the Cyder House. These were licensed as Approved Premises under the Marriages and Civil Partnership Acts in 2015.
We are happy for you to come and have a simple ceremony here without having to have any refreshments afterwards. Or, you are welcome to have your ceremony followed by a drinks reception, or a sit down dinner. Either way, it's your day and your choice!

- RRebecca Mitchard19/05/2019Wonderful weddingWonderful weddingWe had a fantastic wedding at Owlpen Manor. Right from the start we knew Owlpen was the perfect venue for us. We didn't bother looking anywhere else as we felt nowhere else would get anywhere close to fitting the bill! The setting itself is incredible and we loved the fact how we used the space was completely flexible (right down a last minute switch to having our ceremony outside). The ceremony in front of the manor and drinks reception in the manor gardens gave a lovely garden party feel whilst the intimacy of the Cyder Barn for the band and dancing really allowed people to let their hair down! Our photographer was also in her element with little grottos, millponds, etc. for photo opportunities! The food was excellent and we were able to work with Raoul to plan a perfect and personal menu for canapés and the wedding breakfast rather than just choosing from a list. The wine sourced from the local wine merchant Vinotopia matched perfectly. A huge thank you to Bella, Hugo, Theo, Raoul and the rest of the team for making our wedding weekend run so smoothly and so much fun!We had a fantastic wedding at Owlpen Manor. I would like to say the biggest thank you to Mel & Theo, they did an absolute fantastic job from start to finish.
