Wedding Open Day - Sunday 17th February 2019 from 10am-3pm. Nobody can fail to be impressed at the sight of Royal Holloway in Egham, Surrey, a truly incredible setting for a wedding. The grade 1 listed Founder’s Building possesses a plethora of original details and features, including a Picture Gallery, boasting over 70 works of Victorian art and the original Victorian Dining Hall. The impressive function spaces, suitable for both civil ceremonies and receptions, can accommodate between 80 and 200 guests. For couples wanting a more contemporary feel, the Crosslands Suite can cater for 80 seated guests and leads directly out onto the the beautiful south quadrangle, which offers a fantastic space for drinks receptions and photo opportunities. The talented team of award winning in-house chefs will build the perfect menu from a selection of delicious options. The venue also has on-site single, double and family ensuite bedrooms and ample free car parking. The best day of our lives...in the best place.The best day of our lives...in the best place.
On 11th November 2017, we had the most beautiful wedding ceremony at our alma mater, Royal Holloway, in the simply stunning and breathtaking chapel. Susan Eastburn and her team were incredible - explaining everything to us from the outset, keeping us informed about what needed to be completed and when and she was the loveliest lady, even keeping an emotional & very excited bride-to-be calm at the wedding rehearsal (!). This really was the dream setting to start our married life and having the addition of the simply stunning RHUL Chapel Choir was magical. The University is such a special place to us and it meant the absolute world that we were able to get married here. Just thank you so, so much.
