Description

From the classic flint walls on its approach, the original timber beams on display throughout, to the picturesque cornfields surrounding the grounds, the 18th century Granary Barn is the perfect setting for a relaxed and intimate wedding day. The venue consists of two original barns linked by an open glass walkway with a stunning private courtyard in between, ideal for a relaxed drinks reception. Holding a license for ceremonies, the barns are perfect for intimate celebrations and can also accommodate larger weddings for up to 175 guests. The Estates’ dedicated and enthusiastic Events Team have the knowledge and experience to provide full support in assisting couples to organise their special day from the early booking stages right through to the end of the evening reception. Both venues combine luxury and professional services making sure your event is one to remember.

Best Day EverBest Day Ever
Choosing your wedding venue is one of the most important decisions you will make through the wedding planning process, from pulling into The Granary Estates driveway we knew this was where we wanted to get married! The Barn itself was stunning and we were greeted by the lovely Tori and Parris who couldn't have been more welcoming, they were attentive and answered any queries we had on our initial viewing, which as someone who's never done this before was really reassuring. This was the first wedding venue we had viewed and we went away to consider other options/ book viewings, however we could not get the barn out of our heads and shortly after we booked our dream venue for our December Wedding, without any hesitation that we hadn't even looked at another venue. The process through from the viewing, to booking, to the day and now beyond been amazing and a huge part of that is down to the wonderful Naomi! I cannot put into words how much I/ we have enjoyed working with you and the help/advice you have given us to make our dream wedding a reality. Naomi was always there at the end of a phone or email to answer any of the many questions that popped into my head (sorry ) she ensured that what we had envisioned became a realty and that the day ran smoothly to make it as stress-free and enjoyable as possible for us. Our wedding was more than we could have hoped for the love, laughter and memories that were created on the 5th December are something that we cannot put a price on and will stay with us forever I am so sad the wedding is over, I want to relive it all over again -I have tried to convince my husband its normal to renew your vows every 2 years, but he's not buying it, not at the moment anyway. From the minute Dan and I walked in to Granary we knew it was the venue for us- it’s beautiful, cosy atmosphere caught us straight away. On the run up to the wedding Parris and the other ladies at Granary were extremely helpful and I felt like they really understood my vision for the day. Fast track to our amazing wedding day last Friday, the venue looked amazing (exactly as we’d dreamt it would), Parris was absolutely amazing on the day and everything went amazingly due to her superb organizational skills and attentive attitude. Throughout the day of the wedding we had tonnes of compliments about how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the staff were. A family member also fell ill during the drinks reception and Parris dealt with the whole situation swiftly; so swiftly and discreetly I wasn’t even aware of what was happening until it had been dealt with. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, well organisaed wedding day! I couldn’t recommend the venue any more 🥰❤️. We had our wedding reception at the Granary Estates in September and it was truly the most wonderful and perfect day! From our first visit to the day itself nothing seemed too much trouble for Naomi and the team - we were so well looked after. Naomi especially was our constant, providing us with updates and information, alongside useful guidance and suggestions based on her knowledge and experience. We felt in very safe hands and did not feel any stress or worry at any point. The day itself went so smoothly - the cottages were the perfect space for getting ready and the level of attention to detail in the barn with the place settings and decoration was brilliant. Many of our guests are still waxing lyrical over the beauty of the setting and how lovely a day had and we agree with them! We got married at the Granary Estates on Thursday and cannot fault anyone. Parris and Naomi were our planners and were so friendly, professional and knowledgable - their service was just brilliant. Nothing was too much to ask. They made sure the day ran seamlessly and is was lovely that they were there on the wedding day so I had familiar faces there to welcome me - and calm the nerves!! Chris looked after us in the evening - again, he was so helpful. The bar was well staffed and the tables were always clear of glasses. We also received so many comments on how well kept the venue is so I think a massive well done is deserved to the maintenance guys too! Thank you all for giving us the day we dreamed of - and more!!!We got married at the Granary Estates on Thursday and cannot fault anyone. The most incredible day!The most incredible day!
I literally do not even know where to begin... As soon as we stepped into the main barn for a viewing I knew that this was where we were going to get married. The venue was like no other we had seen, it was just incredible. The Granary girls were so professional, attentive and friendly - they made us feel so welcome! After visiting for the first time, we didn’t look at any other venues and brought our parents to gain their approval...obviously they fell in love straight away. The run up to the wedding was really smooth, we were in regular contact with the girls and had a review meeting before the big day to finalise the details. I always felt reassured that everything was organanised and in-hand. The wedding itself was just perfect! Everything ran so smoothly, and the venue looked so beautiful. Our vision came together perfectly, we could not have been happier with how the day went. Parris stayed for the majority of the day and ensured that everything was in place and that timings were kept (without it feeling structured and formal). So many guests commented on how amazing the venue was, with many saying that had never been to a more beautiful wedding. The venue is such a nice size for our numbers (120 day guests and 15 evening guests) with plenty of space for guests to mingle. We hired the fire pit which meant that guests could spread out and enjoy the whole venue, rather than having to be confined to indoors. I could not recommend this venue more. If you want a fun, romantic wedding in a beautiful setting then this is definitely the venue for you. I just wish we could do it all over again! I literally do not even know where to begin... Where to start? The Granary is the full package. Not only are the barns effortlessly beautiful, filled with many areas and surprises that make it so special, but the team who work there to support you are second to none. Parris and the team are just the most outstanding human beings. Parris was so supporting, kind, understanding, and just generally incredible at her job. There was never any stress, she got our ideas and made them real. Throughout the planning she was attentive and incredibly responsive to any needs we had. On the day she was basically a ninja. She was there when you needed her, and invisible the rest of the time making sure everything was going perfectly- we didn’t have to worry about anything on the day- she just made it happen. Many of our guests (and suppliers) complimented the venue, saying how gorgeous it was! Again- this venue and this team are the best you will find. If you want an intimate, gorgeous, fun and friendly day... you have to book here. If we were to get married again, my partner and I would do it all over again exactly the same. Where to start? The moment I visited the granary barns I knew it was the venue where I wanted to get married! My other half was very easy going and wasn't that bothered about where we held it. However, even he was blown away by how picturesque the venue was. The intimate flint barn was perfect for us to share our vows: low ceilings, wooden beams, light and airy... A perfect quaint wedding venue. For us, the large granary barn was what sold the venue. The highest of ceilings, the wooden beams, the stone pebbled walls, the wooden chandeliers...it was just beautiful! Many weddings before us had used fairy lights, more foliage, drapes, and hanging lanterns to decorate this room. However, this barn was perfect and beautiful just the way it was - I didn't think it needed anything to take away from its uniqueness. The gardens and outside areas were gorgeous and we were lucky enough to have an incredibly sunny day. The courtyard was covered in lavender, the pond was surrounded in greenery, and the barley fields were a perfect background for our photos. The whole day wouldn't have gone so smoothly without the granary girls who work there and helped organise the whole day. The day was perfect and it went without a hitch. They were professional and always on hand for my many many questions before the day. Overall, I had dreamed of what our wedding day would look and feel like and it had succumbed my expectations. We got married in December and The Granary Estates was our dream venue. It is a stunning space and all our guests commented on how beautiful it was. We really wanted a barn that didn't feel too rustic, and we knew the second we first arrived that Granary was perfect for us. On top of that, the team there (especially Mikaela, Naomi & Parris) are absolutely incredible - always on had to offer support & advice, and on the day they made everything run so smoothly; we had no stress at all! Everyone told me to expect things to go wrong on your wedding day, but we didn't have a single issue and I don't have a single wedding regret!
