"We fell in love with Westmead the moment we arrived; its the perfect outdoor wedding venue". If you are looking to create your own event and just want a blank canvas and the freedom to choose exactly what you want, be it an outdoor wedding, mini-festival or 'Wedfest', summer or anniversary party, you'll find the right space with us. The lakeside meadow & orchard makes a perfect marquee site. It's bordered by a lovely beech hedgerow with willow, oak and apple trees and views of the lake. Hire of our venue includes use of an attractive 700 square foot Summerhouse. The Summerhouse has a mini kitchen area, fridges and freezers, interior and exterior power sockets and running water. It is perfect for use during your complimentary set up and dress down days whilst your marquee is being built. Guests are very welcome to Glamp or camp overnight with use of our wonderful 6ft fire pit and there is onsite parking for 60 cars. We do not charge corkage and you are free to select your suppliers or choose from our extensive list of recommendations.

We finally got married on Saturday and to say that it was the most perfect day is an understatement!! The venue itself is absolutely stunning and after visiting it for the first time nearly 2 years ago, myself and my partner couldn't have pictured to celebrate our wedding anywhere else, nothing else will ever measure up to it!! There is more than enough room to fulfil everything you can dream of doing and more and the landscaping and scenery is so beautiful. �� When it comes to Lisa herself, there are not enough words we can use to sum up just how amazing she is and how well she knows her line of business!! Nothing is ever too much and the advice and ideas she has are out of this world, if you ever think about getting married here, not that you even need to think about it, you will have no doubt in your mind that your wedding will go down as legendary!! �� There is no pressure at all to use certain suppliers to make you day happen, but if you do need any help she has a list of amazing suppliers that have previously worked there and never had any problems with. Lisa, we are sooo grateful that you decided to start your business at Westmead and for allowing us to be a part of your adventure. Please don't ever stop or give up as the happiness you are creating there is unbelievable!! We were lucky enough to have our wedding at Westmead in June this year. We are so grateful we found this stunning place when searching for our venue as it was absolutely perfect! The grounds are so beautiful and Lisa is an absolute angel. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed; from recommendations for suppliers, to even helping calm me down just before the wedding when my Husband's grandparents had got lost. Julia and I will live with wonderful memories of our Wedding Day at Westmead. What a perfect outdoor venue which is wonderfully run by Lisa. She is such a bubbly, caring person who wants to make sure that you leave with beautiful memories of your Wedding day. No request is too much, and Westmead is a venue where you can create your day in our own style, with suppliers, food and drink, of your own choosing, which many venues do not offer. Lisa helped in every way possible, making the planning up until the day very easy. We are glad we found Westmead, helping create a Wedding that was everything we wanted and more! If you want freedom in a beautiful setting, Westmead creates the perfect place!Julia and I will live with wonderful memories of our Wedding Day at Westmead. Speechless and still floating Speechless and still floating
Westmead events is a stunning ground and incredibly beautiful. Our wedding wouldn't be where we are today without Lisa who was a gem and she was absolutely hands on. Everybody had an incredible time and the location of Westmead is very acccesible in the middle of a beautiful location. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

I couldn't select a best wedding as every wedding we have hosted has been so different. I do love the festival style weddings with stunning pole tents, glamping bell tents and an outside blessing in front of the lake (and a very late night/early morning around the fire pit!) Or a simply stunning Indian wedding with drummers, dancing and a ceremony in a Mandap in front of the lake.

Have it exactly as you want it.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

Photos of friends and family no longer with us framed and arranged on a table to remember them during the celebrations.

Wherever the most fun is being had!

I'm not allowed to answer that but I can say the venue used to be owned by a famous and very handsome boy band singer!
